‘Meeting Place’ is the latest EP from Sydney bassist and composer Lucy Clifford. This live studio recording was captured at Golden Retriever Studios in Sydney, and features Australian guitarist Felix Lalanne and Swiss drummer Jessie Cox. The trio explore Lucy’s compositions, which weave between both energy and repose, poetic soundscapes and dynamic grooves, at the same time inspiring the unique voices of each member to shine through.

Presented as an uninterrupted musical odyssey, this 4 track EP explores the many meanings behind ones ‘meeting place’. “This music is dedicated to those places we always return to, wherever they may be, the sun, the sea, your shadow, or your loved ones, that have the power to bring us back to the present. Our meeting places”.

For Lucy, this meeting place created with Felix and Jessie is a "celebration of collaborative spirit and the immersive spacial movements of sound.”
